As part of the Excellence Strategy, our proposal “TransFORming HUMAN RIGHTS” convinced the reviewers and will enter the second round with a full proposal on 22 August. A great success for FAU and CHREN!

The cluster project is based at CHREN and is carried out in close cooperation with the International Nuremberg Principles Academy, the German Institute for Human Rights and other partners in Germany and abroad.

Autocratisation, planetary environmental crises, global migration and displacement, the (de)globalisation of production networks and digital transformation: these megatrends are shaping the 21st century and putting human rights under pressure. The interdisciplinary cluster project “TransFORming HUMAN RIGHTS” addresses this major topic of our future and examines human rights issues that are important in times of transformation.
